Power Group Technologies Tz Ltd specializes in providing power systems, infrastructure solutions, and related technical services across the region. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities
While the original focuses heavily on qualifications, the role involves overseeing operations in a technical/engineering environment. This includes:)
Managing multiple projects, site teams, and supervisors simultaneously
Handling project planning, budgeting, and resource management
Setting, monitoring, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects and teams
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in operational settings
Providing strong leadership, communication, and reporting
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (required)
A Master’s degree or professional certification in Project Management or Operations Management is an added advantage
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in operations or project management within a technical or engineering environment
Proven track record of managing multiple projects, site teams, and supervisors at the same time
Strong background in project planning, budgeting, and resource management
Demonstrated ability to set, monitor, and report on KPIs for projects and teams
Solid understanding of health, safety, and quality compliance in operational environments
Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills
Minimum age of 45 years
